At DealMaker, we strive to honour our responsibility to protect your privacy. As part of this responsibility, we let you know what information we collect using cookies when you use our application, why we collect it, and how we use it to improve your experience.
About Cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites save locally to your computer, which allow sites to store and use information during your visit. They can improve your experience when using a website by:
Remembering preferences, so you don’t have to keep re-entering your choices when you visit again.
Measuring how you use a site, so that changes can be made to ensure it meets your needs.
How we use Cookies
Our software at dealmaker.tech collects and tracks certain user information. When you visit the site, our web server may send a cookie to your browser, which may store the cookie on your computer for a duration -- anywhere from a few seconds to a few years. Such cookies store a limited amount of information about your site visit. They may track aggregate information on how our site is being used, including session counts, navigation patterns, pages visited, etc. Our cookies, however, do not store any personally identifiable information such as your name, email address or phone number as you browse the site.
Session information, data that details your preferences and login history, may also be stored in a cookie that allows our site to recognize you when you return. DealMaker may also utilize web logs to track aggregate information about how our site and software are being used. Web logs track anonymous user information, including the number of visitors to the Application, operating systems, public IP addresses, and browser type. Unlike cookies, web logs are maintained only on DealMaker servers and do not store or place anything on your computer.
How you can manage Cookies
You can manage the cookies stored on your computer, or turn them off completely, through your browser settings. Be aware that this may affect your browsing experience or even prevent you from using certain services such as those with a secure login, which require cookies to be set in order to work.
