Named one of North America's most innovative lawyers by the Financial Times, Mat has practiced on Wall Street and Bay Street, and built and advised numerous startups before founding DealMaker. Mat brings passion and a track record of success on strategy, operations, team-building and corporate development, supercharging DealMaker's growth strategy internationally.
Rebecca is Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of DealMaker. She practiced law on Bay Street for over 10 years, founded the startup practice group at one law firm and was co-chair of the Toronto Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies Group at another. Rebecca's vision and drive have landed her in Lexpert's top 40 under 40 and recognized as one of North America's most innovative lawyers by the Financial Times.
Geronimo is Chief Technology Officer at DealMaker. His diverse background in Computer Engineering, Entrepreneurship, and Business Strategy brings the type of technical leadership and level headed thinking capable of propelling DealMaker to the next level. His focus on operational excellence, coupled with his experience building and optimizing software development teams, ensures DealMaker’s platform is continuously exceeding our customer’s highest expectations.

Tom Muir, FCPA FCBV, has a wealth of experience in investment banking (he was a senior executive at RBC Dominion Securities), as a CFO of a significant public company, and serving on the Board of Directors of numerous TSX and Nasdaq companies. He was the Lead Director of Solium Capital (TSX), a highly successful SaaS company. He has served on a number of OSC Committees and was Chair of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.
Laurie Clark has successfully founded, built and sold multiple companies and was awarded “Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada” in 2017 and 2019. Ms. Clark is presently the CEO of SUI and co-founder of Canchek Corporation. She sits on a number of TSX company boards, the TMX PTMP Advisory Council (X TSE), is past Co-Chair of the Canadian Capital Markets Association Communication Committee, and Strategic Advisor to the Canadian RegTech Association.
Thomas Kalafatis is principal of KalNes Capital Partners and founder of PSG Digital, holder of various Digital asset interests. Thomas was formerly Vice President and Head of Trading for Toronto Stock Exchange, Managing Director and Global Head of Equity Execution and Prime Services of CIBC and Managing partner of Independent Trading Group.
Marc is the founder of MSJ IT Services, who provide consulting and strategic advice on system security and scalability for growth companies scaling cloud-based technology solutions. Marc previously ran integration and systems testing at SOMA networks and built QA , DevOps, and security teams at Fluxx Labs.
Lara Zink has 25 years of experience in Global Public Equities, most recently at RBC Capital Markets as Managing Director. Lara is an investor and advisor to several early stage companies. Lara sits on two Foundation boards, she is a member of the CAMH Campaign Cabinet, and an active volunteer for the Special Olympics.
Adrian Turchet is a former investment banker with over ten years of experience in technology and corporate advisory services. Previously he managed the M&A strategy for 6 years under the new ownerships of Dye & Durham Corporation, Canada’s fastest growing legal tech consolidator.
Jonathan Goldman is an accomplished real estate and infrastructure developer with over 20 years of experience. He is the President of Stafford Developments and founder of numerous companies including Autumn Growth, Coinsquare Mining, Cannoe Canada and Terrace Global. He is very active in GTA charitable endeavours and is a member of YPO.
Ken Price is an experienced entrepreneur and investor. A founder and funder of multiple fintech and regulatory compliance enterprises, including in strategic partnership with Deutsche Boerse and an ultimate sale to Depository Trust Clearing Corporation (DTCC).
